A dynamic asset tracking system incorporates several tools to efficiently manage and track company assets. Puridiom's Asset Tracking system captures asset data from Purchase Orders and receiving processes to automatically populate the asset tracking record.

Initial asset details are captured from a receipt of material and purchase order data. Items can be tagged as assets during the PO process, automatically alerting receiving to apply tag numbers and initiate asset tracking. Service and contract data may be recorded for service tracking purposes.

The system provides for capturing both a location for the item and a custodian. Each time the asset is transferred, the location/custody is updated. An audit trail is automatically constructed to provide details of an asset's history.

Cost History

Each purchase associated with the asset can be recorded as a cost item for grouping related items together into a single asset cost history.

Auto Capture

Data from the Purchase Order and receiving processes (description, PO number, PO date, etc.), automatically populate the asset tracking record. Where a PO item has a quantity of more than one, multiple asset records are created. One record is created for each serial number or asset tag.

Service History

Puridiom's Asset Tracking includes service history tracking for electronic or similar assets that are subject to periodic service needs. This feature links the asset to service contracts, warranties and associated service costs.
