Puridiom offers an extremely easy-to-use, intuitive interface that enables application users to easily and effectively perform their business functions. Being a 100% web-based application, Puridiom’s design has taken advantage of industry standard approaches for the development of such web-based applications. The implementation of role-based security facilitates its use as unauthorized system functions are removed from the end-user’s screen, along with unused fields. This eliminates screen clutter and allows the end-user to focus on their specific job function within the system without having to stumble over unnecessary tasks and fields.
Our unique feature – Procurement Workload Activity Center – is your customized command center. It will automatically show functions, action items, and data that pertain directly to you. This is all based on your user profile, security access and business role. Also, graphs or already filtered lists provide hassle-free access for reviewing existing data. Other information such as your frequently requested items, requisitions assigned to you, requisition awaiting your approval, and status history of your last 10 procurement documents provide easy and quick access. Additionally, the use of quick icons and function keys allow the user to generate a request/order with a single click of the mouse.
Consistency of design and user presentation is key to Puridiom’s ability to ensure the ease-of-use. All screens have a standard look and feel, with consistently located navigation bars to guide users through the various modules or procurement steps. On-line help functions further add to the system’s ease-of-use, providing clear, specific, and concise information in response to end-user queries. The system offers step-by-step processing of user’s work activities for new or novice users when creating a Request, Solicitation, or Order, and also provides the ability of experienced users to directly access specific functions or view information in a classic mode instead of wizard mode.
Advanced searches with wildcard capabilities make it easy to find information you are looking for, along with “English-like” links used to drill-down for more information. Filter criteria identifiers and process navigation history allow users to quickly know where they are or where they have been or what they are looking at.
Validation rules help control data entry and workflow by ensuring all required elements have been entered and that the information is valid before it can move through the procurement cycle.
The Puridiom application definitely accommodates different skill levels since many functions within the application can be done more than one way and because of its intuitive format. Also, a current customer has more than 30,000 users online from various parts of the country, signifying a wide-range of skill levels.
Puridiom supports a variety of electronic communication capabilities that enhance and expedite the processing of business transactions. Puridiom’s Action Alerts module is an internal messaging option that provides an easy means of communicating with other Puridiom users. Messages may be created in any of the system function areas and addressed to any application user. Users are notified either via email or when they log into the system. Messages can also be made to repeat at regular intervals to serve as reminders of actions to be taken.
Additionally, Puridiom supports a message board capability that also provides for collaboration among your contracting communities. Electronic comments or “sticky notes” can also be attached to business transactions or approval routings within Puridiom that also facilitate such collaboration. These comments can be strictly for internal purposes or may be included on procurement documents sent to suppliers. Additionally, information can be emailed, with attachments, to internal and external entities.
External collaboration, between your personnel and suppliers, is also supported, through the receipt and posting of information related to bids, broadcasts to registered suppliers, and emails resulting from a variety of system triggers.
