TSA welcomes Curt Ashenfelter
Jesus Ramos, President of Technical Services Associates, Inc. announced the appointment of Curt Ashenfelter as Business Development Manager.
"Curt Ashenfelter's specialized knowledge in helping government and business transform information technology into innovative business solutions and his service in state government makes him an especially suitable choice to head this important position," Ramos said. "He will help us develop our four-pronged strategy for TSA. He will play a major role in:
·improving business development relations with local commercial, federal and state organizations.
·implementing more IT consulting work in the areas of IT Programming, RFID, Network Security and ecommerce.
·providing IT services for complete life cycle systems integration and application development with superior value-priced services for both private and government sectors.
·implementing both custom development and packaged software across a wide variety of technology platforms, operating systems and infrastructures."
Ashenfelter has worked at the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania and before that at Enron to develop an Internet/Web based e-commerce solution for the electricity marketplace. Before that he led a successful business development effort for Stoner Associates, a Carlisle firm internationally recognized for its software products and engineering services. During Governor Thornburgh's administration, 1979 to 1987, Ashenfelter served in a number of important positions at the Pennsylvania State Police, the Department of State, the Department of Agriculture and in the Governor's Office. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
