You spoke, we're listening
|

In the May issue of the TSA/Puridiom newsletter,
we asked for ways to improve – and we’re listening.
We received some great feedback.
Overall, the feedback was positive. The most common
responses we received were about the commitment to
improve and the scope of information we are working
to provide. Several people expressed their interest
in the ‘downloads’ section, for keeping up to date
on system release levels.
We are in the process of contacting everyone, to find
out what we can do to improve. In the meantime, please

Reverse Auctions – a balanced view
|
|
The July 2004 issue of CIO magazine featured a story about Reverse Auctions.
Since TSA has a Reverse Auction Module for Puridiom, we want to make sure that
clients have a balanced view.
The article starts out by revealing
some of the cost savings companies have enjoyed. Then, moves on to discuss
four things to keep in mind when you are using reverse auctions. The final
line in the article sums it up best:
“By using reverse auctions judiciously, you can move your sourcing strategy forward.”

From manufacturing to construction, the principles of
‘Lean Thinking’ are having a dramatic impact on business.
Recognizing the possibility of improving the procurement
